The artwork is seamless composite--TheTechnoetic self-portrait the main component or character of this composition is that of a female form making a transition into a tree that is bearing some type of fruit. The transition is at the neck and flows upwards and flows into a new image. The values are dark with enough lighter values to create the curvaceous figure with highlights creating volume so the objects appear three dimensional.The colors are very dark mostly browns this art work is very creative and the woman and the absence of her head and the tree completing her appealed to me. I preferred the picture mostly because of the use of color and the placement of forms
The identity of the subject seems to bring to mind that women bear children the seeds "or fruit" of the human race, which is rather majestic. This is a powerful figure but in a serene yet dark setting. In a way the identity of the subject is taken away but then as the eye moves upward into the branches it is re-established in the fruit.
